[email protected]Ganesh Chaturthi, the festival celebrating the birth of Lord Ganesha, was observed at Atharva Group of Institutions with great devotion and enthusiasm. The entire AET community, including students and staff, came together to participate in various rituals and festivities during this auspicious occasion. The celebration continued for seven days with the presence of the idol of Lord Ganesha that graced our premises for the said period. The students and faculties offered their respect to Lord Ganesha and sought his blessings every day during ‘Aarti’ where all gathered with folded hands and heartfelt prayers. This was followed by the ‘prasad’ ritual and vibrant celebrations. The students were thrilled to participate in everyday events - joyfully dancing and singing hymns to hail the deity. PGDM Semester I students were captivated by the grand aura of this event that they ensured to participate in all the organised events – be it the cultural group dance or the Saree-Tie Day.
Shri Sunil Rane, the Executive President of Atharva Group of Institutions also marked his presence for everyday festivities and inspired the students with his warm grit and appeal.
The year’s Ganpati celebration at Atharva campus was a beautiful expression of devotion, culture, and unity. It allowed students and staff to come together and memorialize the seven-day stay of the deity, daily ‘Anjali’ ceremonies, the grand ‘Aagman’ procession, and the daily ‘prasad’ to all that contributed in making this celebration a memorable and spiritually enriching event.
