They come into a new unfamiliar environment and many of them have little knowledge of the journey they are about to embark on. An important task, therefore, lies with the institution, to welcome their students and prepare them for their new beginnings. To make this transition easier and set a memorable start to their B-School journey, Atharva School of Business, organized a Student Induction Program which was a series of sessions conducted by esteemed faculties of the institution.
With their strong determination, the students began their expedition with the Leadership Enhancement Activity Program (LEAP) session followed by an enriching session on Power of Habits and Attitude wherein they learnt the importance of time management skills and the benefits of habits like meditation and concentration. Significance of communication at work place was also shared with the students in the subsequent sessions. Strong emphasis was laid on practicing effective Presentation Skills and Negotiation Skills as well as the power of networking through Linkedin.
Students gained useful insights on foundation of communication, marketing jargons, and general overview of interdepartmental relationships, how to grow and learn, how to design your learning canvas day by day by working on it regularly was taught in Learning Paths to MBA Journey.
The Art of Negotiation was explained through different group activities, importance of business research was made to understand through thorough subject knowledge and case studies also developing effective writing skills and navigating legal landscapes, Team building activities were done to examine and analyze the presence of mind and how important is unity while working in a team.
To conclude with our treasured faculties always believe in the fact that success lies in progress which was portrayed throughout the Induction Program that continued for over a month.
