[email protected]On the 30th of January 2024, the Atharva School of Business, in collaboration with the Research Foundation of India, orchestrated the International Conference themed "Sustainability-India 2050 and Beyond. " The conference commenced with the rendition of Saraswati Vandana, followed by an insightful introduction to the Atharva Group of Institutes and the Research Foundation of India.
The inaugural session featured the introduction of the Chief Patron, Shri Sunil Rane, Executive President of the Atharva Group of Institutes. Additionally, key figures such as the Conference Chair, the Director of Atharva School of Business, Dr. Swati Parab, Dr. Sourabh Jain, Chairman & CEO of the Research Foundation of India, Prof. (Dr.) Ashok Kumar Gupta, Chief Managing Director of the Research Foundation of India, were introduced. The Conference Patron, Dr. Ajay Jain, National Co-Coordinator of the Research Foundation of India, and Dr. Manish Dubey, President of the Central India Board, were also welcomed. The first segment of the conference featured distinguished keynote speakers. At the national level, Prof. Dr. Pratik Rajan Mungekar, Scientist and Distinguished Professor, Dean CCOL London UK, shared insights. Internationally renowned speakers included Dr. Patricia Gonde from Zimbabwe, Head of Academics at Lusitania; Dr. Daisy M. Galgana, Master Teacher II at E. Rodriguez Jr. High School Dept. of Education, Philippines; Prof. Raina Lampou, Global Educator and STEM Instructor at the Greek Ministry of Education; Prof. Dr. Enkeleda Lulaj from the Faculty of Business, University of Haxhi Zeka, Kosovo; and Prof. Ferah Diba, Specialist Pedagogue, Author, and Psychotherapist from Turkey. Their presentations focused on the imperative nature of sustainability for the well-being of the Earth. The first session concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Prof. Malini Jain. Following a lunch break, the online research paper presentation session commenced, adjudicated by Dr. Hitesh Suthar. Over 30 paper presentations took place, with more than 100 research papers submitted for publication, including 13 international papers. The conference culminated with the presentation of the Conference Report and a vote of thanks extended by Dr. Aswathi Nair. In summary, the event proved to be a resounding success, bringing together experts and scholars to deliberate on the pressing issue of sustainability and its significance for India in the year 2050 and beyond.
